Life Cycle Associates analyses GHG emissions of Ripple’s non-dairy pea milk
In a recent study, Life Cycle Associates analyzed the GHG emissions of Ripple’s non-dairy pea milk throughout its life cycle. The study compared Ripple milk to the most popular dairy and non-dairy milks available in the US market. Covering farming to retail steps of dairy and non-dairy milk production, as well as packaging production and disposal.
The Life Cycle Assessment also examined the water consumption of yellow peas as compared to other dairy and non-dairy milk alternatives. Covering farming of crops for non-dairy milk, and the farming of crops for cow feed and cow farming activities for dairy milk.
