Stefan Unnasch speaks at Sustainable Aviation Futures North America 2022 Congress
Stefan Unnasch, Managing Director of Life Cycle Associates, will be speaking at the Sustainable Aviation Futures North America 2022 congress. As the name suggests, the congress provides insights on North America’s sustainable aviation landscape.
Stefan Unnasch is an expert in the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) and has performed fuel cycle analysis since 1987. He has developed energy impact models for greenhouse gases, toxins, and pollutants in addition to leading the development of the California GREET model. Mr. Unnasch has also performed life cycle analyses for advanced biofuels developers for fuel pathways.
At the Sustainable Aviation Futures North America 2022 congress, Mr. Unnasch will be informing on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

Although there are challenges with SAF, the opportunity to reduce greenhouse gases, increase energy security, and drive more stable aviation fuel prices is significant. Sustainable aviation fuel is produced from sustainable feedstocks that are blended with regular fuels at 10 to 50%.
